Please note: the act of translation is rewriting the original text in another language. The translation does not include the editing or rewriting of the original text. When necessary, the translator can suggest editing the original text before the translation, or afterwards.

Interpreting

Interpreting is the act oral translation, which may be consecutive (when the speaker makes short breaks in his speech, so that the interpreter can translate his words), or simultaneous (the interpreter translates in "real time" while the speaker is speaking).
